Mercer Health’s Center for Healthy Weight & Wellness will be hosting a 2026 Education Series, a free, community-focused initiative designed to empower individuals with practical tools and expert insights for lifelong wellness.
Held quarterly at Mercer Health West Campus in Coldwater, Ohio, each session features a unique topic led by experienced healthcare professionals from Mercer Health. The series is open to the public, and no RSVP is required.
Session Schedule:
- March 3, 2026 – Food, Feelings & Stress: Breaking the Cycle of Emotional Eating
- Presented by Dawn Longbrake, PMHNP, Mercer Health Medical Group Mental Wellness. Explore the connection between emotions and eating habits, and learn strategies to regain control.
- May 5, 2026 – Exercise! Goal Setting & Personal Commitment
- Presented by Caitlin Decker, Exercise Physiologist, Mercer Health Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. Discover how to set realistic fitness goals and stay motivated for long-term success.
- August 4, 2026 – What’s Your Protein IQ? Your Guide to Protein
- Presented by Rachel Steinke, Registered Dietitian, Mercer Health Center for Healthy Weight & Wellness. Learn how protein supports your health and how to make smart choices in your daily diet.
- November 3, 2026 – Happy Holidays! Healthy Living Through the Holidays
- Presented by Melissa Kanney, Registered Dietitian, Mercer Health Dietitian Clinical Coordinator. Get tips for maintaining wellness and balance during the busy holiday season.
All sessions will be held from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Mercer Health West Campus, 830 W. Main St., Suite 1, Coldwater, OH.
