This hilarious video shows a cat developing love for a sling carrier purely out of jealousy. The clip shows a cat mom bringing a sling carrier to see if her fur babies would like it. First, she carried Milo in it. However, he apparently didn’t like it and refused to be carried. But when she started carrying her other feline, Poppy, in it, Milo suddenly got jealous and finally decided he indeed wanted to be carried in the sling carrier.

Cat wants owner to carry him in a sling due to jealousy

This video shows how a cat started loving a sling carrier only because he got jealous of his sibling. The clip was shared by @mr.milothechonk and features two felines, namely Milo and Poppy. The cat mom shared that a few weeks ago, she got a sling carrier and wanted to see her fur babies’ reaction to it.

First, she carried Milo in it, but he didn’t like it at all, and she didn’t push him to use it. However, she later tried it with her other cat, Poppy, and she apparently loved it and stayed in it for a while. So the mom started carrying Poppy around in the sling carrier, which Milo noticed and clearly didn’t like.

The owner further shared that over time, Milo started sitting right next to her whenever she held Poppy in the carrier, as if asking for attention. Not just that, he also began pawing at her, clearly indicating that he wanted his mom’s undivided attention.

The owner shared that she believed he was jealous of Poppy. Soon, the jealousy increased to the point where he would follow his mom everywhere she took Poppy. Eventually, he climbed onto her one day, as if asking to be carried.

Finally, the mom tried the sling carrier again with the jealous kitty. This time Milo didn’t resist at all and happily tucked himself in it. She playfully captioned the post, “He only likes it now because he saw Poppy in it.” Meanwhile, the comments further added a fun element to the video. A viewer commented that “reverse psychology is the only way with a king.”
