Dog wins rescue kitten’s trust slowly but steadily
It is a known fact that when it comes to regaining the trust of rescue fur babies, a lot of patience is required. Even after that, some of the rescue furballs take time to develop trust. A similar scenario can be witnessed in this clip, @mywildmeadows, which shows how patiently a giant pooch named River waits for the kitten to trust her back.
The clip shows the kitten first looking at the giant pup for seconds before moving away from River. But instead of running away, the feline starts nibbling and playing with the pup’s tail. However, the sweetest part, despite all this, is that River does not get angry. She simply lies down and lets the kitten nibble her tail. Later, when the pup tries to touch the Kitten, the furball paws at her. Even then, River just walks away without any tantrums.
However, after a brief moment, the best thing happens. The little cat finally trusts the pup and even cuddles with her. Seeing their bonding, the parent could not help but praise River by saying, “she’s just waiting on them to love her back! she is so patient with all her foster babies, seriously the best girl!.” The mom even mentioned that though “some kittens take more time than others, “River always wins them over!!.”
