An amusing video from Instagram user @papaya.cat shows a cat named Papaya, who isn’t here to judge. She is just curious. The video calls out the wide-eyed cat for being a little too curious about everything happening in the house, using a popular audio that depicts Papaya’s whole vibe in one long confession. Meanwhile, you see Papaya popping up in different spots — but hey, she says she isn’t nosy!

The background audio says what the cat never could: “I do be nosy, but not in a, like, judgmental kind of way — like, I don’t care what you do, but I do, like, wanna know. Like, I wanna know about it. But I don’t care. I don’t care, but I’d like to know.”
At the same time, the video shows how the cat has that curious eye for everything she is looking at, as if she’s working a shift. One moment, she sits on the stairs, peering through the railing like a tiny hallway security guard, and in another clip, she stares straight at something with those huge, round eyes that say, “I want to know everything about this.”
Additionally, there is a moment where she peeks over a bed cover, only her eyes and little pink nose visible. Who knows, she might actually be collecting information undercover?
Fans could not help but gush over Papaya. One viewer wrote, “I do be nosy… it’s called supervision, human,” and another commented, “Just nosy, not judgy,” while a third commenter admitted, “I would share all my secrets.” And one person joked, “Purr-ivate investigator mode activated.”
Cats actually run their homes. Curiosity, for them, is partly entertainment and partly routine — but they may actually be making sure their humans are behaving properly. It is common behavior, but Papaya’s owners just happened to record it. Give all the “tea” to Papaya and she will be happy.
