A video from @frankielovesmilo on Instagram shows the black cat hiding deep inside a thick garden bush while ominous music plays over the scene, setting up the moment as if something sinister is about to happen. The on-screen text jokes, “No one is safe when Frankie is in the garden.”

As his owner moves the camera closer through the garden bush, the cat remains in hiding, letting his owner part the branches and reach in. And that is when the mystery creature in the bush swats at her hand. The second it happens, she knows exactly who is behind it, calling out, “You rat! You rat!,” and pulling back the leaves to expose Frankie in his leafy hideout.
Once his owner spots him, Frankie springs up toward her, possibly annoyed that his human just revealed his private garden setup to the public. So, his owner, wisely, does not press on the issue for long.
She lets the leaves fall back around the cat and backs off, leaving Frankie to reclaim his spot, as the caption under the post asks, “Are you brave enough to go into the garden with Frankie?”
