It’s a well-known fact that cats and dogs don’t get along instantly. It requires a lot of patience, effort, and trust-building to form an everlasting bond between the two. Even this video shows a tale of two pets who didn’t get along initially, but with time, the cat learnt to trust the dog, slowly forming an inseparable bond with the pup. And it seems netizens were smitten by the clip as the touching video has garnered more than 5K likes at the time of writing.

Cat takes some time to learn to trust the dog, but now they’re inseparable

This mom was not too sure about bringing a cat to her house, as they were already parents to a dog. Like every pet owner, they had doubts. Despite this, mom went ahead and welcomed a cat to her home, and as expected, the fur babies did not get along instantly.

As shown on @melib_co andmelissabernal01, the cat was initially a bit hesitant to let the pooch near. They always maintained an arm’s length. But gradually, looking at the gentle pup, they started bonding, and before they knew it, the duo became inseparable.

The clip shows the fur babies cobbing each other to show their affection without any resistance. Looking at their relationship grow, the mom confesses that “getting a second pet was the best decision ever.”

“Watching Alma and Milo go from literally not knowing each other to following each other around the house, sleeping together and becoming best friends has been one of the sweetest things I’ve ever experienced (translated version),” the parent mentions in the post, further adding that “Now the house feels fuller, more chaotic… and much happier with my little leopard con.”

And it seems the owner’s suggestion of “This is your sign to get that second pet..” was approved by netizens, as a person mentioned, “They are so precious. And that tenderness of both. I love them (translated version).” Another follower also mentioned, What a beautiful relationship pure love (translated version).” While a third added, “That’s so sweet.”
