Dogs and cats playing together or being good friends with each other is a rare sight. Every pet parent will agree to this. Even this video shows how a cat mom was left surprised when she saw her “neighbor’s dog” crying to play with her pet feline. The clip of their adorable bond gained a lot of attention, garnering more than 2K likes at the time of writing.

Owner says ‘neighbor dog’ cries by the door wanting to play with cats

It’s not easy for a pup and a feline to co-exist peacefully. But this video tells a different story as it shows a dog trying his best to play with the kitty named Skye, leaving the cat mom amused. The clip on social media shows the “neighbor’s dog” standing at the door with a long face, while Skye is on the other side of the entrance, trying to open the door for their furry pal.

The Golden Retriever is excited to meet the little friend, as the pup wags his tail. However, when the door does not open, the duo stares at each other, waiting for the entrance to crack open somehow.

The cat even makes adorable sounds and tries once again to let the dog in the house, but fails. Explaining the struggle, the cat mom mentions, “My neighbor’s dog cries at my door every day to play with my cats and they meow back,” asking followers, “Should we let them play?”

Soon after, the netizens answered the question with many giving it a go-ahead, encouraging the owner to let them play together. One individual said, “Please let them play together they want to be friends.” Another also mentioned, “Yes. Let them play.” A fan also added, “How could you deny this?!? Open the door immediately.” While another pet lover insisted, “Let them play pls.”
